I'm a Backend Developer based in Ho Chi Minh City, currently completing my Bachelor's in Software Engineering at FPT University. My focus is building reliable, secure backend systems using Java and Spring Boot — from designing RESTful APIs to deploying production-ready applications on the cloud.
My journey started with a Backend Developer internship at FPT Software, where I built authentication and registration modules using Spring Security and JWT, and learned to write maintainable code through unit testing with JUnit and Mockito. I later worked as a QC Engineer Intern at Finviet Technology, which gave me a deeper appreciation for API reliability and database consistency from a testing perspective — a lens that now shapes how I build backend systems.
Right now, I'm leading backend development for VietChef, my capstone project — a platform connecting the Vietnamese diaspora with verified home-cooking chefs. As the backend lead for a 4-member team, I designed scalable APIs for user, chef, and booking management, implemented JWT and Google OAuth2 authentication, built a real-time chat system with WebSocket, integrated an AI chatbot using Spring AI, and deployed the system on Google Cloud with Docker and CI/CD via GitHub Actions.
Beyond internships and coursework, I continue sharpening my skills through personal projects involving microservices, Kafka, and Redis — areas I'm particularly drawn to as I look toward building scalable, distributed backend systems.
I'm currently looking for a Backend Developer role where I can bring this foundation to production systems, keep learning from experienced engineers, and grow into building the kind of resilient, high-scale architectures that power real products.
